1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Modista platform ("Service"), including any booking pages hosted by stylists, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Modista provides a salon management and client booking platform for hair professionals. Clients may use stylist-hosted booking pages to request appointments. Modista acts as a technology platform and is not itself a provider of hair or beauty services.

3. Booking Requests

Submitting a booking request does not guarantee a confirmed appointment. Appointments are subject to stylist availability and confirmation. You will be notified by your stylist of whether your request has been confirmed or declined.

4. SMS Communications

By opting in to SMS notifications during the booking process, you consent to receive SMS text messages from Modista on behalf of your stylist. These messages include appointment confirmations, reminders, scheduling updates, and customer care communications. Consent is not required as a condition of purchase or service.

Message Frequency: Message frequency varies. You may receive up to 4 messages per month.

Message & Data Rates: Standard message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan.

Opt-Out (STOP): Reply STOP to any SMS message to unsubscribe at any time. You will receive a single confirmation and no further messages.

Help (HELP): Reply HELP to any message for assistance, or contact us at organized@modista.ai.

Non-Sharing: Your mobile phone number will never be sold, rented, or shared with third parties for marketing purposes.

5. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

Provide accurate and truthful information when submitting a booking
Notify your stylist in advance if you need to cancel or reschedule
Not misuse or attempt to disrupt the Service in any way

6. Cancellation Policy

Cancellation and rescheduling policies are set by individual stylists. Please review your stylist's specific policy when booking. Modista is not responsible for any fees or charges imposed by stylists for late cancellations or no-shows.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, and software associated with Modista are owned by Modista and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce or distribute any part of the Service without written permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

Modista is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Modista shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including missed appointments or communication failures.

9. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

10. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
